West Bali National Park - Bali Tour

West Bali National Park (WBNP) is a nature conservation area managed by a zoning system. The ecosystem within the park is complete and unique because it is a combination of two ecosystems, namely land and sea. Terrestrial ecosystems include mangrove forest ecosystems, coastal forests, seasonal forests, lowland rainforests, evergreens, savannas, and river rain forest ecosystems. While the type of marine ecosystems include coral reef ecosystems, seagrass beds, sandy beaches, shallow sea waters and deep sea waters.



West Bali National Park is one of nature conservation area with original ecosystem and is the last habitat for starling birds. This national park has marine biodiversity such as coral reefs and marine biota, has mangrove vegetation, swampy swamp forest, savanna, and forest of the season.

The special thing of WBNP is to be the last home for Bali's starling (Leucopsar rothchildi). These beautiful animals gather in the Great Prapat Peninsula, precisely Brumbun Bay and Kelor Bay. This bird is the only endemic species of Bali and in 1991 was crowned as the symbol of fauna Bali Province and protected by law. The appearance of this bird is very beautiful and one of the birds most in demand lovers of ornamental birds. The spread of Bali starling only covers the village of Bubunan to Gilimanuk, which is approximately 320 km ².

Fauna that inhabit this national park there are 17 species of mammals and 160 species of birds (aves), there are also various types of reptiles and fish.  Flora that has been identified in WBNP is approximately 176 species include trees, shrubs, climbing plants, creepers, herbaceous species, orchids, ferns and grasses.
